Context
The Canvas Task Flow Assignment was a part of the Interaction Design & Urban Experiences Studio, a course focused on user experience and interaction within urban environments. This assignment introduced task flows as a critical tool for understanding user interactions before designing a full prototype.

Inquiry
We used Canvas, a widely used student assignment platform, and examined how effectively users could update their biography. Specifically, we explored: How intuitive is the process of editing a user profile on Canvas?

Process + Findings

To explore this question, I conducted two user interviews where I asked users to:
01. Add a website and description in their bio
02. Navigate to any course with a class roster
03. Find their name in the class roster and confirm their profile changes from this view

Users were for the most part comfortable with navigating Canvas but struggled to locate the starting point for editing their profile, highlighting a big area for potential improvements.
